!Harrison Family by Charles McGrath 2000 He arrived in Delaware in the fall of 1677 on the flie-boat "Martha" from Burlington, Yorkshire, England. Richard went from Delaware to Burlington County, New Jersey where he lived the rest of his life. !His Will was dated 20 Dec. 1739 and probated 24 Dec 1742 in Burlington County, New Jersey. !New Jersey Archives vol.22 pages 650-678 The home he built was known as "Harrison Manor" in Crosswicks, Burlington, New Jersey, he built it in 1690 and was still owned by brothers Joseph and Isaac Harrison who sold it with 160 acres in 1953. It was still in excellent condition and other than electrical and plumbing was much the same as it was originally as late as 1985 when Charles McGrath had the pleasure of touring it. He has a lovely photo of it in his book.

Note: They tryed to declare intentions to marry at the Chesterfield MM, Burlington County, New Jersey on Dec 3 1686 but consent was denied until Richard brought a certificate of consent from his father. Richard produced this document sighned by his father Peter Harrison on Jan 1, 1687.
