JACOB CHRONISTER the fourth son of Johannes and Catherine (Oberholtzer) Chronister was born on January 10, 1808 in Reading Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania. Jacob spent his entire life farming his plantation in Tyrone Township of Adams County which he and his older brother Samuel inherited at the time of his father's death in 1841. In or about 1833 he was married to MARY who was born on June 30, 1814. They were the parents of the following children [11 listed].
Jacob died on February 15, 1889 at the age of 81 and Mary on June 2, 1893. They are both buried in the Hampton Lutheran Cemetary at Hampton, Pa.

JESSE J. CHRONISTER the sixth son of Johannes and Catherine (Oberholtzer) Chronister was born on June 6, 1815 in Reading Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania. Jesse lived on his father's farm in Reading Township until Johnanes' death in 1841 when he received part of the plantation along with his brothers Benjamin and John. In or about 1843 Jesse was married to HANNAH M. who was born on November 4, 1819. They were the parents of the following children [7 listed]
Jesse spent his entire life as a farmer in Reading Township and died on October 21, 1878 at the age of 63. Hannah died on November 15, 1872[? on last digit, bad copy] and they are both buried in the Hampton Lutheran Cemetary at Hampton, Pa.
