BENJAMIN FULLER (1701-1740) (John, Samuel, Edward, Robert, John)

"Benjamin Fuller was born October 20, 1701 in East Haddam, Ct., and died in Sharon, Ct. December 20, 1740. He married about 1720 Content Fuller, daughter of Matthew and Patience (Young) Fuller of Colchester, Ct. Benjamin and his wife were dismissed from the church at Westchester (Colchester) in the spring of 1740. He had been a surveyor or inspector of highways at Colchester in 1727. In Sharon he lived on the lot next below that of Governor John Cotton Smith of a later time. All his children, except the youngest, were born in Colchester. His oldest daughter was probably born in East Haddam, whence he removed about 1722.

"Content Fuller was born in February 1698. She first married Benjamin Fuller, whose grandfather Samuel was her great-grandfather. After Benjamin's death in 1740 she married second September 20, 1741 Nathaniel Skinner, esq. of Sharon, who was also from Colchester. She died before May 27, 1754."

"Ann Fuller was probably born in Plymouth; she married her second cousin, Samuel Fuller. She died around December 1691 and her estate was settled on the 30th of the same month."

DANIEL CHRONISTER the second son of Johannes and Catherine (Oberholtzer) Chronister was born in the year 1801 in Reading Township, Adams County, Pennsylvania. It appears that Daniel left home at an early age sometime in the 1820's and migrated to the state of Ohio where he was found living in Greene County in 1840. In or about 1834 he was married to MARGARET who was born in France in 1813. They were the parents o f [7 children listed].
In the late 1840's Daniel and his family moved from Green County, Ohio to Deercreek Township of Miami County, Indiana where he spent the remainder of his life. It appears that after Daniel left Pennsylvania he was no longer in contact with the rest of his famil since he was not mentioned in his father's will in 1841. In 1870 he was living in Washington Township of Miami County at the age of 68 and died sometime between then and 1873 when his wife Margaret died at the age of 60.

"Matthew was born in Barnstable, Mass. after 1644 [1664] and died at Colchester before 1744 aged about 80 years. He married February 25, 1691-2, Patience Young, daughter of George and Hannah (Pinson) Young of Scituate, Massachusetts.
"Matthew settled in Colchester about 1712 and was baptized at the First Church there December 12, 1734, "aged about 80 years", according to the records (probably in error regarding his age).
