Isaac. The 1st one I ever heard that said his name was Isaac Mills,
was Minor Clark of Frankfort, Ky. now deceased. I asked him several
times what his proof was for it, but he never said.
I found in a Ky. Society of Pioneers yearbook about 1983? where a
distant cousin had joined & he was a descendant of Mill's son
Horatio who left Ky. & died in Lincoln Co.,Mo. & he sent a copy of
an old paper that had been copied from a Bible & the copy I
received from the society, was fairly dim, but to me it didn't look
like Isaac Mills, but rather Oliver Mills & there's a big
difference between the way those 2 names would be written & it
definitely looked like Oliver to me & Mill's did have a dau. by
his 2 wife named Olivia. The same paper had Mill's birth as 4/24/
1752 & I have Henrico or Chesterfield Co.,Va. He died Jan.-Mar.
1831 & was buried at Beech Creek Bapt. Church Cem. just south of
Waddy, Shelby Co.,Ky. He & Sarah were marr. ca. 1770 in Va. but
marriage record hasn't been found, so specific county isn't known.
7. That old paper did have Sarah Robertson's birth as 7/25/1750 & I
have her born in Chesterfield? Co.,Va. I'm sure she died in Va.
bef. 1787 before they came to Ky. as I'm sure Mills married 2nd to
Mary ---- in Va. ca. 1787-90 before coming to Ky.
